I am a mother, qualified and insured personal trainer, sports massage therapist and reiki practitioner in the Peterborough and Stamford area.
I have always been into fitness but keeping fit fell by the wayside when I suffered a difficult pregnancy, which ended in an emergency Caesarean section, following which I became critically ill with sepsis.
I found myself nearly 3 stone over my normal weight and with my stomach muscles being cut through twice, I thought I would never have a flat stomach again, let alone a six pack!
After previously having success with a personal trainer, I enlisted the help of a new trainer in December 2013 to get in the shape of my life. Just 4 months later I competed in my first bodybuilding show, an IBFA qualifier, placing 2nd in the Bikini category and received an invite to the British Finals. Just 3 weeks later in May 2014, I went on to win a national fitness model search (Fit Factor) at the prestigious Bodypower exhibition. I appeared in the national press, as well as on BBC radio.
I believe that everyone deserves to feel comfortable in their own skin and happy with their reflection both on the inside, as well as on the outside and that exercise is about much more than just the aesthetic benefits. Life is about balance and by functioning optimally, on not just a physical but physiological, mental and emotional level too, we can achieve that.
I am currently focussing on building the Miss Motivator UK brand, looking for my next fitness challenge and continuing my studies to bring my clients even more expertise.

The world is currently saturated with so much contradictory information when it comes to diet and nutrition, that it is easy to become overwhelmed and end up unhappy and unsatisfied following the next fad diet, that is almost always unsustainable.
Contrary to popular belief, you don’t have to be an athlete to benefit from a sports massage. A sports massage is essentially a deep tissue massage designed to relieve muscle tension, reduce stress, increase range of motion and to help prevent and heal injuries. Pressure can be adjusted to suit individual preference.
